PaidContent’s founder, Rafat Ali, has just been funded and he is thinking BIG and global.
He told me this morning that all media is going digital and "our site (PaidContent) will be the hub of everything there." The company is about to expand agressively in the U.K. and Rafat expects to expand with operations in India, Germany, Australia over the next months and years.
He started the company on his own in 2002, and the site now receives over four million unique users per month. The company employs eight people, and is headquarted in Los Angeles. The Beet spoke with Rafat outside the Museum of Television and Radio this morning where he was attending The Deal/Tech Confidential "Convergence 2.0" conference in rainy Manhattan.
Here I am with Rafat at The Deal conference, trying to stay connected with our multitude of wireless devices.
