Wow, so great to see Don Reisinger’s post on TechCrunch about Beet.TV, highlighting our coverage of the TechCrunch50 conference in San Francisco earlier this month. It was a huge task for our little crew, but we got up nearly 40 videos of the show.
We are delighted with our association with TechCrunch, which involves the syndication of our videos onto CrunchBase.
Outstanding work by our Kelsey Blodget, Associate Producer, who just graduated from Dartmouth in June and reported and produced all of this content. Thanks to our great video editor David Kavanaugh. Above is Kelsey’s interview with David Sacks, CEO of conference winner Yammer.
Things are going really well over here, I’m pleased to say. Traffic to our site has jumped to about 100,000 in August, according to our TypePad logs. Our videos on about 15 different platforms, have about 200,000 per month.
We just broke 5000 in the Technorati rankings, which is really great for us. And, we’re back on the Techmeme Leaederboard — at 75 (for the moment!)
And we got a nice notice from Killer Startups! Yeah!
Thanks to everyone who has been supportive our our work — and special thanks to Erick and and the TechCrunch crew for believing in the Purple Channel. Your conference was really great.
Next Stop MIT
I’m heading to MIT this afternoon for MIT’s Technology Review conference. Expected interviews with Adobe CTO Kevin Lynch, Microsoft’s Craig Mundie and uber-VC Vinod Khosla and others. If you will be at the conference, contact me at andy(at)beet.tv.
