New York Times media and culture and columnist David Carr has been in the forefront of innovative video creation at The New New York Times for about nine years. We caught up with him after The New York Times NewFronts presentation yesterday.
He talks with Beet.TV about his approach to video: keeping it simple and letting his subjects have the screen time. While The Times announced a number of new series, nothing new from Carr. But he says in this interview that the a project is in the works to bring “big important people” to the Times. We look forward to hearing more.
Carr also shares his thoughts on digital video and the Digital Content NewFronts.
