Here’s my second interview with Robert Scoble from the Streaming Media West Conference.
There’s been lots of talk here about video blogs and advertising and what will work. Robert says that "engagement" factor is key to a blog’s influence and success. He cites the Ze Frank audience as extremely engaged and explains that while the Rocketboom audience is big, it’s not as "engaged." This topic has sparked a lot of controversy in the blogosphere.
Since you’re probably not here in sunny downtown San Jose, you can check out the Scoble panel and video blogging and business moderated by CNET’s Molly Wood with co-panelists Jeff Baer of Podzinger and me.
For some really great blog posts from Streaming Media West, check out ThinkJose and LostRemote. These guys are doing a great job.
