Rudy Guiliani has a speech on YouTube which is nearly one hour, making it the longest campaign video, according to political video watcher, 21-year old Georgetown student James Kotecki. Kotecki has some good advice for the former New York Mayor, hire a video editor and step in front of the lecturn.
Kotecki’s views are part of a very interesting frontpage story in today’s Washington Post about the effectiveness of online video for candidates. Staff reporter Jose Antonio Vargas makes a good point that the success of political clips on YouTube and other sites have been funny and/or embaressing. How do the heavily managed candidates succeed in the milieu? We shall see.
