Bart Feder is the President and CEO of the FeedRoom, a company that powers video platforms for media organizations including The New York Times and Conde Nast.
The company is increasingly providing video distribution platforms for companies who want to provide videos to journalists, bloggers and the general public. After all, any company can be a media company these days, you know.
Bart told me that the FeedRoom has set up a video newsroom for Wal-Mart where anyone can grab an embed of a video segment. He said Samsung, another client is doing the same.
Streaming Media Winds Down
Bart and so many in our business were at Streaming Media East these past two days. It was great. Not sure if you caught Beet.TV’s live streaming this morning, but it went well. More live broadcasting to come.
Here’s a photo from today at the show. From left to right, Robert Scoble; Matt Sanchez, co-founder of VideoEgg; NewTeeVee/Hollywood Reporter man-about-town Steve Bryant and yours truly. Robert has a very postive review of this morning’s keynote speech by New YorkTimes Digital chief Martin Nisenholtz.
