Long one of the biggest shows on television, 60 Minutes will drive considerable traffic to CBSNews.com on Sunday evening with its exclusive post-election interview with Barack and Michelle Obama.
Correspondent Steve Croft interviewed the Obamas earlier today in Chicago. It will air on Sunday at 7:00 p.m.
Beet.TV has learned that immediately following the broadcast in the East, the entire interview will be available on CBSNews.com and on CNET News.com, a CBS unit. Viewers in the western time zones wont have to wait until seven local time to see the interview on television.
CBS is also publishing numerous excerpts from the interview as embeddable video files. Much of video will be available on mobile devices on Sunday evening.
We’ve embedded the first clip from the interview on this page. We’ve embedded an extended segment of Obama’s interview on policy topics.
Way back in the online news rating rankings, CBS will get a good bump from the “60 Minutes” exclusive with viewers from throughout the country and around the globe.
