CARLSBAD, Calif — Nokia CEO Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo is interviewed by Almar Latour about the iPhone's impact on the cellphone market. Kallasvuo calls the introduction of the iPhone a "wake up call" to his company.
They spoke about the introduction of a new multimedia mobile device, the N97 and the opening this week of an online app store from Nokia.
Latour is former Nokia beat reporter for the Wall Street Journal and is now managing editor of the WSJ.com. The Nokia chief was speaker at the "D: All Things Digital" conference.
This evening at the late night reception, I shot this photo of Latour and HP marketing senior VP Satjiv Chahil.
