REDMOND, WA — Companies seeking to harness the power of videoblogging need to look at Channel 9, the pioneering site launched back in 2003.
Today, 4.5 million visitors per month come to the site to learn about Microsoft products and the developers and executives behind them.
Over the past 5 years, the some 10,000 videos have been uploaded to the site.
Many of us know about Channel 9 through the work of Robert Scoble, who joined Channel 9 in 2003.
We were up in Redmond recently to speak with Jeff Sandquist., the Senior Director for Evangelism at Microsoft. Jeff explains how Channel 9 got its name and why it works.
