3-D Teleconferencing, long the communications tool of choice for characters in sci-fi movies, will be part of mainstream teleconferencing in the future, according to Charles Stucki, VP and GM of Cisco’s TelePresence division.
While Cisco won’t comment on specific product development plans, it is a project referred to internally as “TelePresence Magic.” One of the first demonstrations was done by Cisco Chairman John Chambers in a presentation in India back in 2007.
In this interview conducted at the Beet.TV studios, Stucki talks about the range of technologies which will emerge around video teleconferencing.
