The Huffington Post is entering a “deep partnership” with Yahoo! to produce original content, including both text and video for Shine, the women’s interest pages of of Yahoo!, co-founder and editor-in-chief Arianna Huffington says in this interview with Beet.TV.
Shine and News are the first two areas of content collaboration between the two companies.
We caught up with her today in Manhattan after her the iWantMedia media session organized and moderated by Patrick Phillips. During the panel, Huffington said that contrary to a published report, the site is not for sale.
In the interview, she talks about the evolving editorial scope of the HuffPo and her take on President Barack Obama’s handling of the Gulf oil spill.
She’s Not Exactly Moving to New York, but…
With her high school daughter leaving her Los Angeles home to become a freshman at an East Coast college, Arianna is planning on spending a significant amount of time in New York, she says in the interview.
In the interview, she says she is “not moving” to New York, but will be spending more time in the New York office.
Both daughters will be at Yale. Her holder daughter Christina (’12), writes for the Yale Herald.
