Vimeo, the popular video sharing site for independent content creators, has introduced a means for producers to make money by having viewers contribute voluntarily via the "Tip Jar," the company announced today. The company is also rolling out a pay-per-view scenario on a limited basis.
Unlike YouTube and Blip, Vimeo does not carry in-stream advertising which is typically the way that content creators make money.
