For me, and many of us in San Juan last week for the Beet Retreat, it was high point in our work life: A small group of innovators having frank discussions about the future of television – exploring the challenges and solutions. We made progress. We created professional and personal relationships. It was productive, fun and our efforts benefited a great cause in the Boys & Girls Clubs of Puerto Rico.
There was so much learned and shared. While much of the conversation was shared privately and off the record, we produced some 40 video interviews and 10 hours of sessions – all of which will be shared with our global audience for months and years to come. You can find the videos published on this landing page.
Huge thanks to our event partners in 605, DISH, NBCUniversal, Roundel/Target and Tubi.
On this page is a video of our closing gala and fundraiser at the beautiful La Marqueta in San Juan. The highlight was our charity auction with items contributed by Ampersand, Comcast, Disney, FOX, NBCU, Samsung, WarnerMedia and Inscape/Vizio. We raised nearly $20,000. Thanks to my friends Noah Levine and Mark Rotblat for the kind words in their toasts!
I am hoping you support the Boys and Girls Clubs of Puerto Rico by making a tax deductible contribution directly via this page.
Thanks to everyone who joined us. It was great. Thank you for making this the best Beet Retreat ever.
