SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico – What a wonderful three days of conversations, reconnections, new connections and so much rich content creation. What a terrific group.
My big takeaway from the Retreat is that after so much anticipation about the future of TV, we are there. The advanced TV industry is real and it is profoundly redefining the very nature of ad-supported television. We see it by collaboration, interoperability, in new ways of measurement and through big shifts in advertising investment.
It’s an exciting time, and I believe we marked the moment, together, in San Juan.
Huge thanks Jon Watts, Katy Charles, our moderators and staff, and to everyone who participated.
We couldn’t have done it without our sponsors AppScience, Infillion, MadHive, SpringServe, Univision and VideoAmp. Gracias.
We produced nearly 70 videos which will be seen over the next month. You can find all our coverage on this dedicated page.
On this post is a 3-minute video of highlights from the Retreat, shot and edited by our wonderful San Juan-based multimedia reporting team.
Supporting the Kids of Puerto Rico
On our closing night, we raised $20,000 in a charity auction to benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Puerto Rico. Thanks to our ace auctioneer Dan Aversano. Thanks to the auction winners and for the auction items contributed by Comcast Advertising, Disney, LG Ads, NBCU, Roku, WarnerMedia and Univision.
