With another Consumer Electronics Show just around the corner, professionals are set to flock to Las Vegas, including those from advertising and media.

Serina Spencer, SVP, Enablement, PMX Lift, Publicis Media, is no stranger to CES. In this video interview with Beet.TV, she shared her advice for first-time attendees: comfortable shoes, hydration, and careful scheduling are key.

“I think that CES, the whole idea behind it, is it’s a huge showcase,” Spencer told Beet.TV’s Lisa Granatstein. “There’s a lot of different things that are covered, but you’re able to hear perspectives that you maybe don’t hear from your day-to-day media bubble.”

She cautioned against over-scheduling, reminding attendees to factor in travel time between events.

PMX Lift’s Focus For 2025

PMX Lift, a practice within Publicis Media focused on advanced TV, has spent the last four years honing its approach. In 2024, the company focused on helping local clients by applying learnings from the national advanced TV space to regional campaigns.

“Moving into 2025, I think that there’s many different focus areas,” Spencer said. “One is ensuring that we’re reaching the population appropriately and a representation that reflects the country’s makeup. Targeting in terms of diverse audiences will be really important for us.”

Diversity, Sports Viewers To Shape Ad Spend

She added that reaching sports viewers – a key demographic for many brands – is another priority.

Spencer believes that sports viewers and diverse audiences will be key targets for advanced TV ad spend in 2025. She emphasizes the importance of reaching these viewers using rich data signals, such as those provided by Epsilon.

“We know that those viewers are super important to a lot of brands,” she said. “So, we want to make sure that we have a focus on reaching those viewers using a ton of rich data signals that we get through Epsilon and building that out as a solution for our clients.”

Publicis Media’s broader focus is on connected media across channels, aiming to solve fragmentation for clients beyond just advanced TV.
