For over fifty years, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Puerto Rico has provided recreational, educational, cultural, and life-skills services to Puerto Rican youths.

Recently, it has expanded its services to include prenatal care and job training for adults ages up to 60.

In San Juan last week, we sat down with the new president of the organization, Alma Frontera Colón to talk about the expanding needs of the island and work being done by her group.

She spoke about the essential role of the private sector in supporting their work, particularly during this time of uncertainty around federal funding.

Let’s Do Our Part

For the past 7 years, Beet.TV has raised funds and media inventory for the group.  At the Beet Retreat in San Juan next week, we will raise funds via a live auction. Thanks to our auction partners NBCUniversal, Kinective Media by United Airlines, LG Ads, and Paramount.

Whether you are with us for the auction or not, please consider making a donation directly to the Club using this dedicated link for the Beet.TV community.

Looking for PSA inventory in English and Spanish. Contact me if you have available andy@beet.tv

If you are attending the Beet Retreat next week, please join our visit to the Club on Wednesday morning, February 26.

Muchas Gracias,
Andy
