Andy and Kathy Plesser have a home in Puerto Rico, on the small outer island of Vieques.  For the past six years, the Beet Retreat has taken place there.   While the island is slowly coming back, the W Resort and Spa, where we held the events, is destroyed.   So, we are doing our event in New York City for the first time.

In the wake of Hurricane Maria, Andy has been involved with raising industry awareness and funds to help Puerto Rico and its young people.  The initiative  is called Stand with Puerto Rico.  The group has  created videos, fundraisers and awareness with the help of industry partners including AT&T, Hearts & Science, Teads, true[X] and the Weather Channel.    The principal recipient of our partnership is the 50-year-old Boys & Girls Clubs of Puerto Rico.

There is no registration fee for this event.  So please make whatever donation you can.   For industry partners who want to get involved, please let me know via andy@beet.tv
